The Joint Commission Journal on Quality and Patient Safety® Publishes 50th Volume
In 2024, The Joint Commission Journal on Quality and Patient Safety (JQPS) published its 50th volume. Since its first issue in September 1974 under the title Quality Review Bulletin, JQPS has undergone several name changes but has held its position at the forefront of research related to the field of quality and safety in healthcare, staying true to its aim of "providing health professionals with the information they need to promote the quality and safety of health care."
Each month in 2024, JQPS will provide a special collection of previously published articles on a specific theme or topic, each of which will be freely available to all readers during that month. Topics include healthcare equity, preventing workplace violence, antibiotic stewardship, and more. The special collections will be available on the JQPS website.
